The man behind Wiegaardens Fotostudio, Jørgen Bak Rasmussen, who originally had served his apprenticeship as an electrician, started in his very early years to take photos of dogs, cows and horses. In the weekends he travelled around with his caravan shooting photos at various shows for horses, dogs and cattle. At the same time he toke photos, amoung others for some local papers and ”Landsbladet” (the farmers’ paper). The photo business quickly developped, and soon the screwdriwer had completely been replaced by the camera. Today Wiegaardens Fotostudie consists of a handful photographers, who are engaged in photographing everything from horses and dogs to taking photos for advertising and at weddings.
You will find us here

The residence of Wiegaardens Fotostudio is situated in beautiful surroundings in the town Hobro (the north/mid of Jutland in Denmark), only a stone’s throw from the Fjord of Mariager. Here we have both the possibility to take photos in a studio indoor and in the beautiful nature, that surrounds us. But of course you can also meet us in the field – often in our rolling mediatruck ”FotoXpressen”, where you can see photos right after they have been taken. From here we can for instance also email photos for the press directly, around the globe. With the ”FotoXpressen” we travel around to the big horse shows and to the six annual international dog shows of ”Dansk Kennel Klub” (Danish Dog Association). Futhermore you can book our photographers for jobs all over Denmark.
