What am I allowed to use my photographs for?

Photos may only be used in exchange of a fee (e.g. in magazines, newspapers, books, the internet, etc.). Remember to state the name of the photographer as well as Wiegaarden next to the photograph - in accordance with the law of photography (e.g. Wiegaarden/Joergen Bak Rasmussen).

1. Pictures may only be used for the purpose agreed upon, referring to the current price list. See www.wiegaarden.dk . The picture material may not be lent, and the rights of exploitation may not be transferred/resold without a written agreement with Wiegaardens Fotostudie w/ Joergen Bak Rasmussen. If such an agreement has been made, the rates and conditions of the price list must be abided by under all circumstances.
2. When the photos have been published, one copy must be sent free of charge to Wiegaardens Fotostudie w/ Joergen Bak Rasmussen, no later than 14 days after its publication.
3. Reusing previously purchased photos requires that payment must be made to Wiegaardens Fotostudie in accordance with the price list, no later than 20 days after the publication of the material. If Wiegaardens Fotostudie has received no written confirmation of the publication within twenty days, Wiegaardens Fotostudie is free to debit the user with an extra charge of 100 percent per photo.
4. All photos are delivered in accordance with paragraph 1 of the copyright act - the rights to the photos belong to the photographer.
5. There must be no altering of the photos, no editing or superimposing, no electronic manipulation, etc. without written consent from Wiegaardens Fotostudie concerning every single publication (the price of any picture that has been edited/copied will be calculated according to the number of applied photos). Reproduction/photocopying of the original photos can only take place if Wiegaardens Fotostudie has provided a written consent.
6. If a photo is used for commercial purposes, it is the sole responsibility of the user to attain the necessary permission from the persons in the photo/owners of the animals in the photo. In general, pictures are not model photos. If there has been any publication of photos that depict works of other originators, the user alone has the sole responsibility for any economic demands from a third party.
7. All prices include VAT, otherwise in accordance with the price list.
8. Terms of payment: net cash.
9. Reservations: Certain reservations are made to printing/typing errors, deviations from the text and the pictures shown.
