CHIO in Rotterdam kickstart today

Today Dane Thomas Sightenbjerggard met Edward Gal, Charlotte Dujardin and Carl Hester in the ring. Horses: Nintendo, Glock's Voice, Uthopia and Dances With Wolves

19-06-2013 07:50:00, by Kim Lundin

To be the "not so many stars tour" of the show in Rotterdam the CDI3* has a very interesting start list with well-merited horses like Olympic medallist Uthopia and up-and-coming star Voice. Germany has not sent a team to Rotterdam going for CHIO Aachen next week, however in the CDI3* some young talent is starting with approved stallion Damsey and  Steffen Frahm along with Annabel Frenzen on Christobal, a combination with medals from J/YR-championships.

Thomas Sightenbjerggaard has had a rocket-start career with Nintendo, owned by the Kaspzak-family, he has also been under much media fire in the last days. In Rotterdam he is assisting the latest addition of riders training with Helgstrand Dressage, Morgan Barbancon, starting Heimliche Liebe in the CDI3* and Sir Donnerhall II in the small tour.

Tomorrow Denmark and Sweden met Great Britain and the Netherlands A-team in dressage. No Glock's Romanov though due to probable infection, Hans-Peter Minderhoud will ride Glock's Tango instead according to the Glock web-page.

Follow the CDI3* starting 12:30 through web-tv it is a pay-channel with day-passes so the cost is limited.

Quick reminders
13:09 Thomas/Nintendo
13:27 Edward/Glock's Voice
14:45 Charlotte/Uthopia
15:21 Carl/Dance With Wolves
