On the show jumping course the team competition sponsored by Eurowind has been completed. It was a very difficult course and many riders had problems during their ride. Only four riders cleared the course without any penalties. Ireland’s Abbie Sweetnam put herself and her pony Dynamite Spartacus into the lead after two clear rounds in 71.01 seconds.
It was the Italian team who claimed gold in the European Championships today. Silver was given to the team from Sweden and bronze went to Great Britain.
Today was also the day for the first part of the individual dressage test, sponsored by Julianelyst and presented by Skibby HC. 36 riders and ponies competed to complete the qualification for the kür final on Sunday. The four Germans placed in the leading position and they have once again showed their great talents. Once again, nobody could beat the impressive result of German Lucie-Anouk Baumgürtel and her pony Massimiliano who received 76,244%. Another German rider, Inga Katharina Schuster and her pony NK Cyrill scored 75,293% and placed second whilst third place went to German Tabea Shcroer and Danilo with a result of 73,878%.
Tomorrow is the day for the second round of the qualification in dressage. 25 riders are left to compete.
The eventing riders had their second ride in the team competition sponsored by Nathalie Horsecare today where 25 riders and their ponies performed their dressage test. After the dressage test, Germany is in the lead of the team competition, second is Great Britain and Belgium is third. In lead of the dressage test is the German rider Calvin Böckmann with Askaban B, who scored 38,30 penalties.

Trods flotte ridt blev de danske dressurryttere i løbet af lørdagens Grand Prix Special overhalet af svenskerne og måtte dermed vinke farvel til tredjepladsen. Det tyske hold vandt, mens andenpladsen gik til USA
Cathrine Dufour og Atterupgaards Cassidy viste en rigtig flot kür til 81,6%, og efter deres ridt lå de til en tredjeplads, indtil klassens sidste rytter, Sönke Rothenberger, skubbede dem en plads ned på listen
