Head of the Danish Warmblood Auction Committee, Ulrik Kristensen, states that the committee is very satisfied with the result of the auction which has been conducted under very different circumstances with a very small audience in the show arena du to COVID-19.
– 15 out of 17 foals sold, all six show jumping foals sold and six of the foals sold directly through the internet to buyers in Denmark and the USA, whilst clients from Sweden, Germany and the UK were also bidding. We are happy with the average sales price of 9,100 euro, says Ulrik Kristensen.
Blue Hors securing Zackerey relatives
The international stallion station and dressage stable Blue Hors purchased the two price highlights of the auction. The black colt Zackeis-Ø by Blue Hors Zackerey/ Tailormade Attention/ Blue Hors Romanov from breeders Bente & Jens Møller Hansen showed himself as a very complete foal with plenty of energy and willingness to demonstrate is super gaits, which also attracted foreign bidders, but Blue Hors succeeded in buying this handsome son of their own top stallion Blue Hors Zackerey.
Four foals for Frandsbjerg
The show jumping stable Frandsbjerg Horses have been regular clients at the Danish Warmblood auction in recent years, and today they purchased nothing less than four foals including a dressage foal, the charming grey colt Don Faziano Overskovlund by Feinrich/ Blue Hors Zack/ Don, bred by Irene Dalum.
The Rasmussen family, who runs Frandsbjerg Horses also purchased the price highlight among the jumping foals, the colt foal Hecas Cornetto by Cornet Obolensky/ Catoki/ Landor S, bred by Marianne & Finn Tschernja.
