OL-feberen har ramt hele verden og Riders Cup er ikke undtaget… Gårsdagens sejrsherre - vinder af CSI3* Big Tour - Bruce Goodin har hele ni heste med ved dette internationale springstævne. Han har både heste med i CSI1*, CSI3* og CSI for Young Horses, men ikke nok med det, så har Bruce Gerard Goodin også deltaget ved de Olympiske Lege hele fire gange i henholdsvis 1998, 2002, 2004 og 2008.
Bruce Goodins fire ture til de olympiske lege har efterladt ham med mange fantastiske minder, som han sent vil glemme - ét står dog som noget helt særligt for ham:
- Being in the opening ceremonies is a pretty cool thing to do (…) but I think probably the coolest memory was being in the middle of the opening in Barcelona when the guy lit the flame - when he shot the arrow into the bowl that carrys the flame. To me, that was just so cool and such a unique way of opening the Olympics - I will never forget that.
